Why The Excelerators get hired

...and why you should hire them

The Excelerators get work by club owners and parties for numerous reasons. Basically you could say that they cover the bases like any service-oriented institution should.

The first and foremost reason is the music.
The group selects music considered commercially acceptable and danceable.

The quality of The Excelerators' music and sound, is directly attributable to the amount of experience the band members have. The Excelerators are comprised of seasoned players who have worked in the St. Louis area for years. The experience of everyone involved with this group speaks for itself. Check out the bios of Mike Franzel, Stan Gill, Wes Searcy, Jorge Pereira and Cindy Scanio. You'll see that each person has been in the St. Louis area for some time, have substantial training in music and music theory, have paid their dues locally and nationally and all involved with exemplary productions throughout their musical careers.

The Excelerators emphasize the word Fun !!
They don't just play for an audience, they attempt to entertain them via audience participation.

The Excelerators quickly seguey the music so there is no "dead air." If a player does need to change instruments, etc. The Excelerators attempt to keep the audience attentive through "SOCIABLES," announcements of upcoming club events,
and requests for the audience to 'tip the waitresses,' etc.

To maintain profitability for the club owner, The Excelerators see to it that they draw their following to the clubs. How do they do this?

What does all of this background work translate into? Take a look.

During the performance, close contact is maintained with the club owner/manager to insure that
PA volume is right.

The Excelerators use the applicable size (or amount) of equipment for the venue. Never too much nor too little. They are versatile and can properly cover coffee houses to auditoriums with the right production equipment.

Thank you for considering live music. Contact Wes at wes@excelerators.net, (618) 288-1516 or (314) 541-7374 if you'd like more information or have The Excelerators at your club or event.
