On Saturday, February 20th, a Dinner/Dance Benefit took place to help offset medical & living expenses for the family of Rick "JJ" Johnson who has terminal cancer. JJ has been in and out of the hospital since his diagnosis in November of 2009 and is unable to return to work. He is being treated with chemotherapy to comfort and help with the extension of life. JJ is a Veteran and served in the 2003 Invasion of Iraq. He along wife wife Krystal, have three boys: Jayden (5), Dykota (3) and Payton (1). JJ is a resident of Flint Hill, MO, a member of Concrete Laborers Union (Local 42) and a member of Morning Star Church. He is a courageous, respected and humble person. February 20th was a special night filled with love, laughter, friendship and memories with JJ.
